Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible
Medication List (“we”, “us”) is responsible for the information handling described in this policy. The app’s publisher is identified on its App Store listing. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. For privacy questions, contact expertoiosbv@gmail.com.
2. Information you enter in the app
You may enter medication names, descriptions, reasons for use, strengths, dose amounts, schedules, start and end dates, photos, stock levels, refills, and dose records. These records are stored in the app’s private storage on your device to provide the medication list, calendar, reminders, and stock estimates. The app does not upload these records to our servers or to Firebase Analytics.
There is currently no user account or app-managed cloud synchronization. Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, app data may be included in device or iCloud backups managed by Apple. Those backups are separate from the app and subject to Apple’s settings and policies.
3. Reminders and photos
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They require notification permission; they are not messages sent from our server. Notification text can include a medication name and amount. Depending on your notification-preview settings, this information may appear on the lock screen or on connected devices. You can change notification permissions and previews in iOS Settings, and switch reminders off for an individual medication in the app.
If you choose a medication photo, the app uses Apple’s photo picker to access the image you select and saves a copy with the medication. The app does not upload that image. Deleting the medication’s copy does not delete the original from your photo library.
4. Firebase Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google, to understand how the app is used and improve its features. Custom events record actions such as tapping Save or Cancel, Edit, Stop, Delete, a calendar day, Mark as taken, Undo, or a Settings link. These events use fixed names without custom parameters containing your medication content or record identifiers. An action event indicates interaction with a control, not proof that a medication was taken or a change was completed.
Firebase may also collect app and session activity, an app-instance identifier, app version, device and operating-system information, and approximate geographic information. Usage events and their timing are still information about app use; we do not describe them as anonymous.
The app uses the Analytics package without advertising-ID collection capability, disables vendor-ID collection and advertising-personalization signals, and disables automatic screen reporting. It does not send a custom user ID. These settings do not eliminate all identifiers or all automatic Firebase events.
In the current version, analytics collection is enabled when the app starts. There is no in-app analytics opt-out or analytics-ID reset control. Turning off medication reminders does not turn off analytics. Deleting the app stops future activity from that installation but does not automatically erase analytics already transmitted.

5. Contacting support
Contact us opens your email app. If you send a message, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include, along with normal email metadata. We use that information to respond and resolve your request. The app does not automatically attach your medication records. Please avoid sending sensitive medical information unless it is necessary for your request.
6. Service providers and international processing
Google processes analytics information, and our email provider processes support correspondence. Their systems may process information outside your country. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address security incidents or protect legal rights, subject to applicable law.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those transfers must be covered by suitable contractual or other legal protections. Contact us for details relevant to your request. See also Firebase’s privacy and security information.
We do not sell personal information or use medication records for advertising. We do not use analytics to follow you across other companies’ apps or websites for targeted advertising.
7. How long information is kept
- Medication records: remain on your device until removed. Stop preserves the medication and history; Delete removes the medication, its saved photo copy, and its dose history from the app. Undo removes the selected dose record and restores any associated stock deduction.
- Device backups: may retain earlier copies according to your backup settings. Offloading an app can preserve its data; removing the app and its data is a separate iOS action.
- Analytics: Event and user data follow the retention controls selected for our Firebase / Google Analytics property. Retention can differ by data category and property settings; aggregated reports may remain available longer. Contact us for information about the current settings or to make a privacy request.
- Support email: We keep correspondence while needed to answer your request and manage related follow-up, or for longer where a legal obligation requires it.
8. Your choices and rights
You can review, edit, or delete your medication records in the app and control notification access in iOS Settings. We cannot retrieve device-only records for you from a server.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We may need information to verify and locate relevant records; because we do not assign a named account to analytics, an email address alone may not identify an analytics installation.
9. Security and children
We use the app’s private device storage and platform services, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device and review what notification previews reveal. The app is intended for people managing medication or authorized caregivers, not to solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us.
10. This webpage and policy updates
This supplied page does not include analytics scripts, cookies, or external fonts. The server hosting it may process technical request information such as an IP address and browser details. Contact us if you have questions about the hosting of this page or technical access logs.
We may update this policy as the app or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, material changes will be brought to your attention and any required consent obtained before new processing begins.
