Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. The tool reads and combines selected PDFs inside your browser. ScanlyGo does not receive their document contents.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
No. Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are rejected. Remove the password in software you trust before using this tool.
Can I rearrange individual pages?
No. This first version merges complete documents only. You can reorder files, but every page in each source PDF stays in its original order.
Will forms, bookmarks, and attachments be preserved?
Page dimensions, orientation, rotation, and visible page content are preserved. Advanced PDF features such as interactive forms, bookmarks, document-level attachments, scripts, and navigation structures are not guaranteed to carry into the merged file.
Why was a PDF rejected?
A file may be empty, damaged, unsupported, password-protected, encrypted, or beyond the 20-file, 50 MB, or 200-page combined limits.
