Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. The tool reads the selected PDF and creates the output files inside your browser. ScanlyGo does not receive the document contents.
How do I choose which pages go into each PDF?
Use commas to keep pages together and semicolons between files. For example, 1-3;4,6;7-9 creates three PDFs.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
No. The browser tool rejects password-protected and encrypted PDFs. Remove the password with software you trust, and only when you have permission, before selecting the file.
Will forms, bookmarks, and attachments be preserved?
Visible page content, page size, orientation, and rotation are retained. Interactive forms, bookmarks, attachments, scripts, and document-level navigation are not guaranteed to carry into the split files.
Why are the downloads shown separately?
Separate links let you choose each result without the browser blocking several automatic downloads. The links are temporary and exist only on the current page.
